Courtney L. Katz, Esq.

Courtney graduated Albany Law School in May 2018. During her studies at Albany Law, she interned at Albany Surrogate’s Court where she learned about the complexities of wills and trusts, as well as guardianship and adoptions. She also spent a year interning at the Albany Law School Clinic and Justice Center where she represented low-income families in child custody and child support matters. She was also a quarter-finalist in the Moot Court Client Counseling Competition for the fall 2016 semester.

Prior to law school Courtney earned an associate degree in criminal justice and moved on to earn her Bachelor degree in Law and Society at Sage College of Albany where she received the Looseleaf Law Publications Award for exhibiting dedication and an avid interest beyond the norm.

Courtney grew up at the base of the Helderberg Mountains in Altamont, New York. She spends most summers camping at Thompson’s Lake and hiking the trials at Thatcher Park. Courtney enjoys gardening, painting, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
