During the 2020 NY legislative session, sweeping changes were made to the eligibility standards and tools for Medicaid funded home care for our seniors and other individuals with disabilities. Our program will focus on those changes, the home care process itself, and what advisors and practitioners should be telling their clients given the current landscape.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the Home Care Application Process;
- Understand the new look back for home care and the programs to which it applies;
- Ensure advisors are giving their clients realistic and real life advice so families know what to expect.
