Jeanne Morris, Director of Benefits & Entitlements – Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC

Jeanne is one of the very few people in the Capital Region who are considered experts in matters concerning Medicaid and government benefits. She is courageous in her advocacy for our clients and is a highly respected legal source.

Jeanne has 25 years of experience and has been working with Ed since 1999. She brings to the firm a Skidmore College education in accounting and business administration in addition to numerous professional trainings with such organizations as the Brain Injury Association, Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, the Elder Law Institute, New York State Bar Association, and the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a current member of the Adirondack Paralegal Association and past member of the Capital District Paralegal Association.

“I began my career working for the New York State Department of Social Services. Twenty-five years and a world of knowledge later, I have the great fortune of working with Ed and Tara and people I consider to be my extended family here at WP.”

Creativity runs through Jeanne’s family. Her father was a prestigious glove designer with Van Raalte and her son is a professional ballet dancer with Ballet San Antonio in Texas. With a daughter nearby, Jeanne gets to watch two beautiful grandchildren grow up in Saratoga, just as she did.

Jeanne’s passions are gardening and beauty and she marries the two in landscaping at her home as much as possible. However, her true loves are her grandchildren, Austin, age 7, and Lelah, age 4 (going on 14!).
