Rebecca Reynolds, Director of Benefits & Entitlements – Adirondack Case Management & Advocacy LLC (www.adkcma.com)

Rebecca came to Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC in 2017 with 15 years of training, education, and experience in the field of public benefits and case management.  She started her career at The Warren County Department of Social Services, where she worked with various state and federal financial benefit programs, assisted the Adult Protective Service unit in maintaining financial records for vulnerable elderly and individuals with disabilities, and oversaw transportation services for Medicaid beneficiaries.

She was soon promoted to the position of Social Welfare Examiner, and as a result of her expertise she quickly became a Supervisor in the Chronic Care Medicaid Department where she supervised and trained other Social Services staff.  In this capacity, Rebecca regularly communicated with Elder Law attorneys, represented the Department of Social Services in administrative hearings, and interacted with Waiver program providers, Medicaid Service Coordinators, and nursing home staff.  It was this interest in the broad continuum of care and services for the elderly and individuals with disabilities that eventually led her to Wilcenski & Pleat PLLC.

Committed to furthering her professional development, Rebecca continues to refine her skill set by attending various Elder Law forums and trainings through the New York State Bar Association; National Center on Law and Elder Rights; and the Social Security Administration. In the past she attended Empire State College, Adirondack Community College and completed numerous New York State training programs for professionals employed in the social services and accounting fields while at the same time managing work and family.

In her personal time Rebecca enjoys spending time with her loving and supportive family in her hometown of Hartford NY. Rebecca is an avid reader, traveler, baker, and sports fan,  and when she’s not busy at work or helping manage her family, she spends time volunteering in her community.
